Hanife Limani - Kosovo
Hanife Limani is leading the Global Aid Insights (GAI) evaluation of the Transnational Health Training Programme (THTP) in Kosovo. She is a highly accomplished Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) specialist with over 15 years of leadership experience in USAID-funded governance, justice, and civil society programs across Kosovo.
Shahad Al Dawoodi - Iraq
Shahad Al-Dawoodi is a skilled field researcher and evaluation practitioner based in the MENA region, with a strong background in participatory research, trauma-informed facilitation, and stakeholder engagement in conflict-affected contexts. She has led Global Aid Insights’ (GAI) Dignity Project and Transnational Health Training Programme (THTP).
Jolene Vaipulu - Pacific
Jolene is a dedicated education and research professional from the South Pacific with extensive experience working in Tonga. Combining her background in nursing, education, and community development, Jolene has led Global Aid Insights’ (GAI) Cash Feasibility Study in the Pacific, conducted in partnership with Oxfam.
Dr. Maryam Noorzai - Afghanistan
Dr Maryam is specializing in maternal health and complex case management in complex emergencies, with a strong focus on program management experience, research and learning. Skilled in organizing and reporting, monitoring, and evaluation, with a keen attention to detail and a talent for problem-solving and lateral thinking.
Nalwadda Brenda - Uganda
Brenda is from Uganda and has over 18 years of experience in the evaluation field, working extensively in Uganda and across East Africa. She fluently speaks English, Luganda, and Lusoga, enabling her to engage effectively with diverse local communities. As a distinguished Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) expert, Brenda has supported numerous large-scale development programs with a focus on health systems, education, and governance.
Dr Yaseen Ayobi - Australia
Dr. Yaseen is a PhD in Humanitarian Leadership and serves as part-time Evaluation Lecturer at the University of Melbourne. His full profile can be accessed here: Dr. Yaseen is a PhD in humanitarian leadership. Yaseen has completed more than 35 evaluations across Asia, MENA, Africa, and the Pacific. He specializes in impact evaluations, developmental evaluations, and the design of innovative evaluation methodologies. As both an academic evaluation fellow and a seasoned humanitarian evaluation practitioner, Yaseen combines practice and theoretical expertise with practical insights to deliver impactful evaluations. He has successfully designed and established monitoring and evaluation systems for major development partners, including USAID, DFID, and AusAID.
Dr Makiz Wardak - Australia
Dr. Makiz Wardak is a leading psychologist and researcher with extensive experience in mental health, trauma recovery, and gender-based violence in conflict and post-conflict settings. She has led several research and evaluation projects for Global Aid Insights (GAI), contributing to the organization’s feminist, trauma-sensitive, and survivor-centred evaluation portfolio. Dr. Wardak combines clinical expertise with strong analytical and facilitation skills, advancing evidence-based approaches to psychosocial support and women’s empowerment across humanitarian contexts.
